My journey into the world of technology began long before I stepped into a formal workspace. Ever since childhood, I had an insatiable curiosity for gadgets. I was always eager to know what was inside a device and how it worked. That curiosity led me to experiment—sometimes dismantling home appliances and mobile phones, other times repairing them successfully without ever being taught. Over time, I built a reputation in my neighborhood: whenever someone had an issue with their home electronics, mobile phones, or computers, they often brought them to me. Remarkably, I was able to solve about 98% of those problems, which gave me confidence in my natural problem-solving ability.
By the time I was awaiting admission into the university in 2016, I had already begun installing operating systems, setting up software, and troubleshooting computers on my own, without supervision. Recognizing that what I knew was only a tip of the iceberg, I decided to sharpen my skills further. That’s when I joined OlaRich Computer Enterprises in Ado-Ekiti as a Computer Repair Intern.
At OlaRich, I received hands-on training in diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various computer systems and their components. My boss quickly noticed my dedication and competence. In fact, he trusted me enough to send me out on assignments to work directly with clients on his behalf—a responsibility that strengthened my confidence and professionalism.
Through this experience, I gained a solid foundation in hardware troubleshooting, peripheral repairs, and software configurations, which continues to support my growth in the tech and digital world today.
