My journey as a Projectionist began in 2016, driven by curiosity, creativity, and a passion for service. It all started in my church, where I took the initiative to begin setting up projectors and creating PowerPoint presentations to enhance worship experiences and communication during services.
Using tools such as Microsoft PowerPoint and EasyWorship, I managed the visual aspects of various church programs. I displayed service outlines, hymns, scriptures, sermons, and important announcements to help the congregation stay engaged and informed. Over time, this became more than a simple task—it became a calling that allowed me to blend technology with service.
I continued to handle these responsibilities consistently, supporting different church events and special programs. As I grew more experienced, I began assisting in other gatherings, ensuring that each presentation ran smoothly and that all visual displays were clear and well-coordinated.
My dedication and technical skill soon extended beyond the church setting. One of my most remarkable experiences as a projectionist was working with the Oyo State Local Government Staff Pension Board during a three-day training and lecture program organized for civil servants preparing for retirement.
I was responsible for setting up and operating projection equipment, creating and managing PowerPoint slides, and ensuring seamless visual communication throughout the sessions. It was a fulfilling experience that combined my technical expertise with public service.
The program took us across several regions in Oyo State, including Ibadan, Oke Ogun, Oyo Town, and Iseyin, where I provided visual and presentation support to the facilitators and participants.
Each event taught me valuable lessons about teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability under pressure. Whether in a church service or a government training program, I learned that effective projection and presentation go beyond visuals—they enhance understanding, communication, and connection.
Looking back, my journey as a projectionist has been one of purpose and growth. What began as simple volunteer work has evolved into a skill that allows me to support meaningful causes, serve communities, and make an impact through technology and presentation.
